PRIVATE COMISSION2006

The concept of this house, as well as its materials and shape are quite simple and in a way traditionaly Austrian.

Embedded in a small compound with view to a lake, this 200 sqm house is located on a gentle slope in Egg, Austria. It was comissioned by a dynamic couple, that works hard and enjoys all sorts of social and sport activities in their free time.

A full view to lake Faak and privacy for upstairs private rooms and an open plan for the more public ground floor zones, as well as a small naturally lit underground gym and sauna had to be considered.

I did 2 conceptual designs and EPD. DD and CD were executed by a local architect. It has undergone some changes since then, but is scheduled to finish construction in June 2007.
