Imagine Gallery is the first architectural project finished in Beijing under my own name. It is a gallery renovation/extension for Laetitia Gauden who wanted to extend the surface of her gallery space. A 30m2 split level was created to host clients and an art storage/display space. A metal stair that develops into a counter/book display was added as well as extra storage space and a small office. The washbasin and toilet interiors were custom made from stainless steel while the stair and counter are made from varnished metal. The concept and appearance is very simple and easily comprehensible as only black/ white and metal/plaster were used.
