STUDY PROJECT2003
This project was conducted as an exercise to analyse, underst and, and transform nature or natural forms and principles into architecture.
Our chosen topic was bird skulls. Even though birds look completely different from each other, their bone structure and parts of their skull are all alike and only different in size, shape and proportion. We referenced that to houses or buildings, that also share the same principles, just with their rooms and openings, differing in size and proportion from each other.
After preliminary studies on bird skulls, followed by transformations, morphs and remodelling we constructed a small seaside pavillion.
The research of this project in the studio of Zaha Hadid at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna has been concluded with Robert Groessinger and Paul Peyrer- Heimstaett.
