What to do with 1 million squaremeters of right-next-to-the-beach prime location land? That s what the minicipal government and city planning institute of Qinhuangdao asked MAD.

 

Concept design for an educational sports and wellness park, with different level accomodation, entertainment and retail facilities.

 

My answer however was quite contrary to what they had obviosly expected (standard residental and mixed use towers and retail park) and the project never went further than concept stage.
