This is a simple daily use object. A banal salt and pepper shaker combo, that doesn’t resemble the typical ceramics based models at all. The principle is the same, the design however is based on a hilly mountain side with single trees. A truly romantic piece of nature.

 

The approach is the combination of a topic and a banal function, both well known and recognised by everyone, yet still alienating or surprising. It is the context or de-contextualisation that creates the feeling or design. 

 

Materials are soft rubber for the trees and plastic for the base.
